NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING
OLIVE TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION
TO: CITIZENS AND RESIDENTS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF OLIVE, OTTAWA COUNTY, MICHIGAN.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at 7:30 p.m., local time, a public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission of Olive Township, Ottawa County, Michigan, at the Olive Township Hall, 6480 136th Avenue, Holland, Michigan, 49424, to hear and consider the following amendment to the Zoning Ordinance Map of the Township of Olive as well as three special use applications.
Section 1
The property proposed for amendment located in the Township of Olive currently consists of the CO Commercial Zoning District and the MDR Medium Density Residential Zoning District. The amendment proposes to change that portion of the lot that is described and currently zoned as CO Commercial Zoning District to MDR Medium Density Residential Zoning District. The property is located on the west side of 96th Avenue south of Port Sheldon Street at approximately 6217 96th Avenue. The legal description and parcel number of the property is as follows:

Section 2
A Special Use application from Ken Koetsier to operate a used automobile storage and detailing facility as a home occupation at 11554 Tyler Street, parcel number 70-12-22-200-013. The property is located on the south side of Tyler Street, east of 120th Avenue.
Section 3
A Special Use application from Grain Communications to construct and operate a wireless communication facility consisting of a 475-foot tower and related equipment at 14250 Fillmore Street, parcel number 70-12-06-100-004. The property is located on the south side of Fillmore Street, west of 136th Avenue.
Section 4
A Special Use application from Jeremy Town to construct and operate a riding stable at approximately 9069 104th Avenue, parcel number 70-12-02-400-044 PT. The property is located on the west side of 104th Avenue, south of Stanton Street .
Section 5
Any person interested in these matters may appear at such hearing in person or by agent or attorney. Written comments concerning these matters may be filed prior to the hearing with the Olive Township Clerk, Olive Township Hall, 6480 136th Avenue, Holland, Michigan, 49424, (Phone 616-786-9996), between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The tentative map of the proposed amendment to the Olive Township Zoning Ordinance and the special use applications may be examined by any person at the Township Hall of Olive, 6480 - 136th Avenue, Holland, Michigan, 49424 (Phone 616-786-9996), between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The Township will provide reasonable auxiliary aids and services at this hearing, such as signers for hearing impaired persons and audio tapes of printed materials for visually impaired persons, upon receipt of seven days prior to notice. Disabled persons requiring such auxiliary aids or services should so notify the Township by contacting the Township Clerk.
